Project Leader: French Presence in Pietermaritzburg/KwaZulu-Natal: La Route du Prince Impérial, Louis Napoléon

In 1994, Glenn initiated a cultural tourism research development project based on the French Presence in Pietermaritzburg and KwaZulu-Natal. Her research started with the Prince Impérial, Louis Napoléon who was killed in Zululand on 1 June 1879 in an ambush.

From the start her project included the Uqweqwe community that lives next to the Prince Impérial monument. Annual events highlight the KZN French Presence and the project continues to work for the development of all the communities that are touched by the progress of this project.

En 1994, Glenn a démarré un projet de développement culturel et du tourisme basé sur la présence française à Pietermaritzburg et dans le KwaZulu-Natal. Ses recherches ont commencées par l'histoire du Prince Impérial, Louis Napoléon, qui fut tué dans le Zululand le 1^er juin 1879 dans une embuscade.

Depuis le départ, son projet implique la communauté d'Uqweqwe qui vit près du Monument du Prince Impérial. Chaque année, des événements soulignent la présence française dans le KwaZulu-Natal et le projet continue d'œuvrer pour le développement de toutes les communautés impliquées par son progrès.
